The company operates two self-storage facilities in California
May 1, 2019: Meathead Mini Storage founded in 1997, has opened a wine-storage facility in San Luis Obispo, California. The Wine storage facility at 4468 Broad St., Suite 110, offers 427 units that will hold 27 to 360 wine cases. It is a supplementary facility to the company’s existing 92-locker wine-storage facility that opened in the city in 2014 at 3600 S. Higuera St.
The facility has some advanced features include redundant, monitored temperature and humidification systems, controlled access, video cameras, motion-detection lighting, and a backup power plan. The business also accepts wine deliveries on behalf of customers.

Meathead Mini is owned by Meathead Movers Inc. It is a family-owned and operated business. Founded by brothers Aaron and Evan Steed in 1997 at San Luis Obispo. The company opened their first self-storage location in San Luis Obispo in 2010 and a second site in Oxnard in 2017.
